GOOD SPORTS: Will IPL lead to ICL?
The success of the Indian Premier League has spawned a series of similar cash-rich, short-season sports leagues debuting in India this year, including the Hockey India League (played from Jan. 14 to Feb. 10 and won by the Ranchi Rhinos), the Golf League of India (played from Feb. 7 to 10 and won by the Uttarkhand Lions), and the Indian Badminton League (to be played from June 24 to July 11).
