Yousafzai, 24, is a big cricket fan who grew up playing the sport with her friends and brothers. She and Malik have been courting for two years.
“In Malala, I found the most supportive friend, a beautiful and kind partner,” Malik wrote on social media. “I’m so excited to spend the rest of our life together.”

Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai delighted millions on social media with her recent news: “Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families.”Her husband, Asser Malik, is Pakistan Cricket Board’s general manager (high performance).
