Good Sports: INDIA: TOP ODI TEAM
The 2019 Cricket World Cup is just six months away and India has to feel good about its chances. Virat Kohli and his teammates enjoyed more success in One Day Internationals (ODIs) in 2018 than any other team. Out of 20 matches, they won 14, tied two, and lost four.
Kohli finished the year as the top-ranked ODI batsman, recording 1,202 runs in 14 matches. Rohit Sharma finished second, with 1,030 runs in 19 matches. Jasprit Bumrah was the top ODI bowler of the year, while Kuldeep Yadav was third.
The World Cup will be held in England and Wales from May 30 to July 14, with India playing its first match against South Africa on June 5 in Southampton.
