DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN?
1. Joseph Patel, a producer on the Oscar-winning documentary Summer of Soul, blasted Oscars presenter Chris Rock on Twitter for introducing Patel and other producers as a group of “four white guys.”
2. Bihar Police arrested eight people, including an officer in the water resources department, in connection with the theft of a 60-foot abandoned bridge.
3. After heavy rains disrupted a soccer match in London, several fans blamed an Indian storekeeper for displaying asign that said, “Pray for UK RAIN.”
4. A man in Telangana was arrested for repeatedly calling police to complain that his wife had not cooked mutton for him.
5. A Tamil Nadu man bought his dream motorbike for Rs. 2.6 lakhs and paid for it entirely with one-rupee coins.
