DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN?

How much do you know about current events in India and the U.S.? Try this short quiz!

1. McDonald’s began serving its McAloo Tikki burger, popular in India, at its global headquarters restaurant in Chicago.

2. An Indian restaurant in Austin, Texas, named one of its dosas after Deepika Padukone.

3. A group of scientists proposed the idea of genetically modifying tomatoes to be spicy.

4. Bolly X, a Bollywood-inspired dance fitness program, was featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, but received no investments.

5. As Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Buenos Aires for the recent G20 summit, an Argentine TV station showed Modi’s plane, as well as a picture of the character Apu from The Simpsons with the headline “Apu Arrives.”

(All five really happened.)
