Who will play Deepika’s husband in Padmavati?

The big buzz this time: Who will play Deepika Padukone’s husband in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ambitious extravaganza, Padmavati, which also stars Ranveer Singh? Apparently, Deepika has taken it upon herself to choose her onscreen husband as she has some intimate scenes with him! It is being said that the actress was keen on the handsome Fawad Khan but he didn’t have the dates open. Interestingly, Deepika and Ranveer, who plays Alauddin Khilji in the historical, never meet in the film.
Rumors abound that it is Shahid Kapur who has now been finalised for the role.
