Sridevi to light up silver screen again

This should be delightful news for fans of the former diva, Sridevi. The actress is all set to return to the silver screen after a 14-year hiatus with the film English Vinglish which sees her play the role of a small town woman who cannot speak English. What’s more, the producer R. Balki has roped in French heartthrob Mehdi Nebbou to play Sridevi’s special friend and confidant in the movie.
English Vinglish, which is Balki’s wife, Gauri Shinde’s directorial debut, has been shot in three languages—Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
