RRR song “Naatu Naatu” wins Golden Globe!

The song “Naatu Naatu” from S.S. Rajamouli’s epic action drama, RRR, has created history. It won the award for Best Original Song at the 80th Golden Globe Awards, a first for any Asian song, beating stalwarts like Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and Rihanna. Music director M.M. Keeravaani, lyricist Chandrabose, and singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava are over the moon as is everyone associated with RRR.
Incidentally, the hit catchy number was shot right in front of Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky’s palatial official residence in 2021.
