One of the biggies slated for a November release is
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai
Bachchan. While Hrithik plays a wheelchair-bound magician in the movie,
Aishwarya plays a nurse.
Buzz is that Vidya Balan will play Hollywood actress Uma Thurman’s role in a Hindi remake of the film Kill Bill. Director Sujoy Ghosh has apparently approached Vidya as he believes that she is the best choice for the role of a scorned woman.
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has signed Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha for the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster Kick.
It is official. Aamir Khan’s Peepli Live will represent Indian cinema in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Oscars.
Charlie’s Angels star Drew Barrymore is all set to make her Bollywood debut in a film titled The Lifestyle, being made by an Indian production house. Drew plays the role of a foreigner in the film, which will also feature two top Indian actresses.
