It is now almost certain that Kareena Kapoor will step into Aishwarya Rai’s shoes in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ambitious project Heroine. The film had been shelved after just 10 days of shooting when Ash announced that she was expecting.
Manisha Koirala is all set to direct her first film. The movie will reportedly be inspired by the life of Gautama Buddha. So far this year, she has appeared in the following films: I Am, Mappillai (Tamil), and Do Paise Ki Dhoop, Chaar Aane Ki Baarish.
Some of the biggies slated for a September release are Imran Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer Mere Brother ki Dulhan, Hema Malini’s Tell Me O Kkhuda and Pankaj Kapur’s directorial debut, Mausam starring Shahid Kapur and Sonam Kapur.
John Abraham will be seen with five actresses, including Chitrangada Singh and Prachi Desai, in a new film titled I, Me Aur Main to be directed by debutant Kapil Sharma, son of noted astronaut, Rakesh Sharma.
