MOVIE UPDATE
After Dil Bechara, its lead actress Sanjana Sanghi will now be seen in an action thriller Om: The Battle Within opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. The film, slated for a July 1 release, is directed by Kapil Verma.
Ek Villain Returns, a sequel to Mohit Suri’s 2014 thriller Ek Villain, will hit the screens on July 29. Starring John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria, the film will clash at the box office with Thank You, a comedy featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh.
Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Shamshera will release in theatres on July 22. The film, which is set in the 1800s, also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.
Alia Bhatt has begun shooting for her first Hollywood film Heart of Stone in London. The movie will release on Netflix, but the release date is yet to be decided.
