MOVIE UPDATE
The much-delayed historical Prithviraj starring Akshay Kumar and former Miss World Manushi Chhillar will finally hit the screens on June 3.
Two other films—Govinda Naam Mera starring Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani, and Sidharth Malhotra-starrer Mission Majnu—are slated to release on June 10. Mission Majnu marks the Bollywood debut of South sensation Rashmika Mandanna.
The much-awaited comedy-drama Jug Jugg Jeeyo starring Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani will release in theatres on June 24. The movie has been delayedbecause of the pandemic.
Anushka Sharma will be seen as the former captain of the Indian national women's cricket team, Jhulan Goswami, in Chakda Xpress. The sports drama, said to be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket, is being directed by Prosit Roy.
