MOVIE UPDATE
Horror comedy Stree2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is slated to hit the screens on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day. The movie is a sequel to the 2018 hit Stree, produced by Dinesh Vijan. Both films were directed by Amar Kaushik.
Another much-awaited movie Khel Khel Mein is set to release on August 15. Starring Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu, the film also has Fardeen Khan and Vaani Kapoor in pivotal roles. It is said to be inspired by the 2016 Italian thriller Perfect Strangers.
John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh starrer Vedaa is also scheduled to hit the screens on August 15. Directed by Nikhil Advani, this action drama also stars Tamannah Bhatia. It portrays a young woman who tries to overcome a repressive system.
Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is reportedly set to make a comeback in Bollywood with a romantic comedy opposite Vaani Kapoor. The yet-to-be titled project will be shot mostly in the .K. Fawad was last seen eight years ago in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
