MOVIE UPDATE
Ranveer Singh has reportedly been finalized to play the role of Dev, Ranbir Kapoor’s father, in Brahmastra 2. Ranveer will also begin shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra this year.
Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon will romance each other for the first time in a film titled Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which releases on February 9. It is being touted as “an impossible love story" that's set in a futuristic world filled with danger and obstacles.
Kareena Kapoor Khan will soon be seen in Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders, which also marks her debut as a producer. Kapoor is a grieving British Indian detective who works on a case involving a murdered child in Southeast England.
Parineeti Chopra will be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s next film, Chamkila, which is a biopic of Punjabi folk singer Amarjot Kaur. Diljit Dosanjh plays the titular character.
