MOVIE UPDATE
The much-awaited Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan in a double role, is slated to hit the screens on June 2. Directed by Atlee, the action-thriller also stars Vijay Sethupati and Nayanthara.
Another movie all set for a June 2 release is the one starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. Said to be a smalltown romance, the yet-untitled film is directed by Laxman Uttekar.
Satyaprem Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, is set to release on June 29. Being promoted as a soulful musical love saga, the film has been directed by National Awardwinning director, Sameer Vidwans.
After Vicky Kaushal opted out of The Immortal Ashwatthama, Ranveer Singh has reportedly been roped in to play the character from the epic, Mahabharat. It is being speculated that Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be cast opposite him.
