Kiara Advani to play Meena Kumari in biopic?

There is a strong buzz that Kiara Advani has been approached to play the legendary Meena Kumari in a biopic being made on her, titled Kamal aur Meena. Director Siddharth P. Malhotra’s film focuses on the poignant love story of Meena Kumari and Kamal Amrohi.

Though there is no official confirmation about this, fans are excited to see how Kiara will bring to life one of the most revered actresses of Indian cinema, often described as Hindi cinema’s Tragedy Queen. The ambitious film is expected to hit the screens in 2026.
