Cricket and Bollywood came together in a grand show of camaraderie as the fifth season of the Indian Premier League kicked off in Chennai on April 3. The showstopper of the glitzy extravaganza was American pop icon, Katy Perry who went desi chic for her performance. Dressed in a bling choli, a maang tikka and bindi adorning her forehead, Katy sang "Teenage Dream" to the packed audience. Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan opened IPL 5, after which Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan took to the stage and enthralled the audience with their acts.
Priyanka went a step further and charmed everyone when she made M.S. Dhoni and Harbhajan Singh do a little jig with her on the stage.
