Karan Johar turns 40 in style
It was touted to be Bollywood’s party of the year and indeed, it lived up to all its hype. Yes, yes, we’re talking about Karan Johar’s grand 40th birthday bash which was hosted by his good friend, designer Manish Malhotra, at Mumbai’s Taj Lands Ends Hotel on May 25. The who’s who of Bollywood turned up in full force to wish KJo—Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, Hrithik-Suzanne, Vidya Balan with beau Siddharth Roy Kapoor, Kajol minus hubby, Bipasha Basu, Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta, and of course, the Kapoor sisters, Karisma and Kareena, besides many, many more. Salman Khan was out of town.
Priyanka Chopra stunned everybody when she walked in past midnight as no one expected her to come due to her recent public spat with Karan. Apparently, she was sent the invite at the last moment.
