Kangana Ranaut to play Indira Gandhi on screen

Kangana Ranaut seems to enjoy playing iconic characters on screen. After playing Rani of Jhansi in Manikarnika, and the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha in Thalaivi (which is yet to be released), the spunky actress is now all set to portray India’s charismatic leader and former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi in a political drama to be helmed by Sai Kabir.
Kangana will also be seen in Tejas in which she plays an Indian Air Force pilot, and Dhaakad which is being touted as India’s first ‘female-led action thriller’.
