Is Bhansali’s Love and War a remake of Sangam?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has pulled off a casting coup by roping in Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal for his upcoming saga, Love and War, which is rumored to be a remake of Raj Kapoor’s timeless love triangle, Sangam. Apparently, Vicky stepped in when Bhansali’s first choice Ranveer Singh backed out due to date issues.

While Ranbir and Alia have worked before with Bhansali, Love and War will mark Vicky’s first collaboration with the director. Bhansali's last film was Gangubai Kathiawadi.
