Deepika Padukone tests positive for Covid-19
Almost all in the Padukone family—Deepika Padukone, her parents as well as her sister—have tested positive for Covid-19 in Bangalore. In fact, her father, India’s biggest badminton star Prakash Padukone, was hospitalized too; but has now recovered. Earlier, as Maharashtra announced a lockdown in April, Deepika and her husband Ranveer Singh were spotted at the Mumbai airport heading for Bangalore.
Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty’s entire family, including her children, has tested positive in Mumbai. Shilpa herself tested negative, which is being put down to her being a fitness diva.
