Close shave for Saif Ali Khan
It was a close shave for Saif Ali Khan who was stabbed multiple times in the back and neck by an intruder during a robbery bid at the actor’s Mumbai home on the night of January 16. Saif was quickly rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent a sixhour surgery that included removal of a 3-inch knife blade lodged dangerously close to his spine.
A smiling Saif walked out of the hospital after four days, much to the relief of his family, friends, and fans. He later recounted his harrowing experience to the media, calling it a miracle that he survived the brutal attack. The intruder, who turned out to be a Bangladeshi national, has been arrested.
