Amitabh Bachchan turns 80, greets fans at midnight

Amitabh Bachchan, the “Star of the Millennium,” turned 80 on October 11. Not only was it a special day for him and his family, it turned out to be a special day for his countless fans as well. Big B delighted all his well-wishers and admirers who had gathered outside his residence, Jalsa, by stepping out at the stroke of midnight and greeting them. He also cut a cake in the presence of the paparazzi.
Incidentally, there was no big bash on the occasion. The Bachchans had an intimate birthday celebration at home.
