Aishwarya to play Dalbir Kaur in biopic

After Jazbaa, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will now be seen in a deglamorized avatar as Dalbir Kaur, in a biopic which showcases the heartbreaking story of Dalbir fighting for justice for her brother Sarabjit Singh, who was convicted of spying in Pakistan and was killed in a Pakistani jail when he was attacked with bricks by the jail inmates. The film, being directed by Omung Kumar of Mary Kom fame, is being shot in Punjab.
Randeep Hooda plays Sarabjit while Richa Chaddha plays his wife Sukhpreet in the movie.
