Aamir, Kiran blessed with a baby boy
While Beti B (that’s how Abhi – Ash’s daughter is referred to) became the centre of media’s attention when she was born on November 16, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao quietly welcomed a new member into their family, away from the media glare. Yes, the couple became the proud parents of a baby boy on December 1, but they chose an unconventional method. Aamir and Kiran used a surrogate mother and the IVF technique to finally have their first child together, who was born at a private clinic in Mumbai. Kiran had suffered a miscarriage in 2009.
The new-born has been named Azad Rao Khan. Aamir already has two children—18-year-old Junaid and 13-year-old Ira—from his first marriage with Reena Dutta whom he divorced in 2002.
