TANA's relief efforts for Hurricane Harvey
TANA organized relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Harvey. TANA has been helping people by serving food and water, distributing basic-necessities, and supplies to 6,000 people in the affected areas of Houston.
On September 9, 2017, TANA Leadership Team joined the efforts to help the victims of flooding by setting up a breakfast distribution center and handed out food boxes and bottled water. The volunteering team, then, helped change the sheetrock and move out furniture and debris for a few affected homes. Home owners expressed their gratitude and heartfelt thanks to TANA volunteers. The afternoon efforts catered to the community's lunch needs by serving food for impacted people. The flood relief efforts by TANA also included serving meals for displaced children housed by Houston Children's Charity. TANA volunteers donated packages of canned food and water to Katy Eternal Food Bank.
