Shruthilaya Carnatic Music Competition
Shruthilaya conducted an in-house Carnatic music competition for children ages 5-11 at the Ivy League Academy on October 19, 2013. Around 48 kids participated in the event.
Ms. Gayatri Krishnan, assistant teacher of Shruthilaya, gave the invocation. The three judges and accomplished artistes were Sri. Ramesh Panchagnula, Smt. Usha Venkatachalam, and Smt. Bhavana Pradyumna. Four winners in each category were awarded prizes. The event concluded with a kid’s bhajan segment and the rendition of songs by Shruthilaya’s senior students. The competition was a huge success with lots of families attending and encouraging the kids.
