Shezi Sardar Is Mr India America 2004 Runner Up
Atlanta's very own Shezi Sardar was named 1st runner up at Jinder's Annual Mr/Miss India America 2004 pageant. He was also crowned Mr Photogenic 2004 at the glitzy three-day extravaganza held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Ballroom in San Francisco on April 10. Well-known director Shekhar Kapur was the special guest for the evening.
Saurabh Dogra of Los Angeles was judged Mr India America 2004, while Megha Nabe of New York was named Miss India America 2004.
Talking to Khabar, Sardar said he participated simply to experience another facet of a competition, "?one that involves any contestant to showcase not only their talents, but a level of maturity, confidence, self-control, and charisma."
"With thirty-five talented, charismatic individuals practicing their formal and traditional walks for a competition many of us hardly knew what to expect from, we slowly found the pleasure in bonding with each other," he added. His 90-second dance item for the talent round won him wide appreciation.
Sardar is also winner of last year's Boogie Woogie Chalo America Atlanta competition.
