Riot Of Colors At IACA
April 2004
The Indian spring festival, Holi, was celebrated with joy and a riot of colors at the India American Cultural Association (IACA) facility at Smyrna on March 6. Hundreds participated in the festivities that included Holi related songs, dance and splashing of colors.
A special tent was erected at the venue, especially for the occasion. There was also a play area for children. Local restaurants had their stations at the venue, where food was sold at discounted rates.
Holi is celebrated with traditional gaiety at the IACA facility every year.
