Raksha organized virtual Art Show 2020
Reflective of the pandemic times, the theme of Raksha’s third annual Art Show held in the last week of October 2020 was “The Art of Resilience.” Usually held in March to commemorate women’s empowerment month, Raksha organized the event virtually as a week-long art event.

The listing continues to be available on Raksha website.
Artists shared their biographies, and work in progress photos and videos on Raksha digital platforms. They also conducted virtual art workshops and tutorials for the community. Some of the artists also offered promotions and discounts on artwork or commissions. While the show presented opportunities for the artists, many of th em also supported Raksha’s work by donating a portion or all of their proceeds from the sale of their artworks during the show to Raksha.
“The Art Show has been a great way to support artists who have given back to Raksha or those who have been impacted by the pandemic,” said Aparna Bhattacharyya, Executive Director, Raksha, Inc.
