Kalahari, the Dark Prince

Bhakti Yoga Academy of North Atlanta presented a beautiful show titled "Kalahari—The Dark Prince" at Berkmar High School, Lilburn, Georgia on Sunday, October 13, this being the auspicious night of Sharad Purnima (harvest full moon).
Amit Gautam welcomed everyone, and invocation prayers were sung by the children of Bhakti Yoga Academy.
The show was centered on Lord Krishna, and focused on the importance of leading a balanced, meaningful, and holistic life as prescribed in the Bhagavad Gita.

A medley of dances, lectures, talks, and skits took the audience through the four stages of man’s intellectual journey: sangharsh (conflict), khoj (search for our identity/purpose), satya (search for truth), and utsav (celebration).
The academies and groups that performed were Abhinaya Dance Academy, Kuchipudi Dance Academy, Chandra Dance Academy, the youth of Gokuldham, Atlanta Nritya Academy, and Planet U.

The program ended with aarti to Lord Krishna and the distribution of boxed prasad.
