In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy in the northeastern United States, two members of the India America Cultural Association (IACA) spearheaded a relief effort. In November and December, Dr. Saibaba Arcot and Mrs. Rajshree Arcot of Covington, Georgia, understanding the plight of the hurricane victims, collected used clothing for men, women, and children, especially winter wear, along with blankets and comforters. This collection drive was done under the leadership of Mr. Kaushal Tripathi, President, and Dr. Paddy Sharma, Board Member.
