Fulton County Commissioner Addresses Indians
September 22, 2006. Robb Pitts, the Fulton County Commissioner District 2 (At Large) addressed a well-attended gathering of Indians residing in Fulton County. The meeting was held at the St. Ives Country Club in Duluth on September 22 nd 2006.
Besides pledging to work unconditionally for the social and economic development of the county, Commissioner Pitts shared his experience of visiting India and expressed that the epicenter of global economic activity lies in Asia, especially between India & China. He stressed the need to strengthen the bond between the U.S. and India and assured that he will do whatever it takes to help the Indian community in Fulton County. He sought the help of Indian community in the forthcoming elections in November 2006.
The event was sponsored by Mr. Pundi Narasimham, President & CEO Software Technical Services Inc. and was organized by Prathap Singh, CEO / President of IBS Global Trading Inc. and Deepak Narasimham COO Software Technical Services Inc. Singh had hosted a team of delegates led by Commissioner Robb Pitts to participate in the IT.com event in 2004 November, in India, which is billed as Asia's largest IT event. He identified that Commissioner Pitts had a special liking towards the Indian Diaspora.
