Atlanta Tamil Church: VBS 2024 – May 27 to May 31
Summer, the season representing hot weather and lushy landscapes is one of the much awaited among children and adults likewise. Many of us might agree that costal destinations are the prime spots for summer relaxation and fun.
Would you believe if you were told that ATLANTA TAMIL CHURCH became that beachy coastal destination from May 27th to 31st showcasing 2024’s Vacation Bible School – BREAKER ROCK BEACH. So many places to explore, so much truth to uncover. Here’s a recollection on this year’s VBS.
The amusement filled the whole room as the beachy tunes captured their enthusiasm and become instant favorites. The worship team kicked off each morning with uplifting songs which piloted the whole crew as we set sail towards each day’s journey.
The kids then went on to have classes to explore the scripture through captivating stories and engage in discussions. This helped them discover valuable insights of their daily meditations and strengthen their connection with GOD. The life lessons they carry out beyond the walls of our church each day will stay in their hearts forever.
The kids got busy each day building crafts like Boats, Lighthouses, Rock-painting. Craft time is a favorite among the artistic minds who brought to life the themes and stories they had encountered earlier in the day.
Colorful delicacies lay wait for the kids to refuel after the craft session. Lots of chitter chatter were heard in each table as children gathered to enjoy the treats and share stories with friends old and new, making new bonds of fellowship that would last long after the week had ended.
With weather being favorable, there is no stopping the kids from playing games outdoors. There is always a lesson to learn in everything. Each game was infused with the spirit of teamwork, sportsmanship, and joy.
