Annu Kapoor Hosts NRI Antakshari in Atlanta
NRI Antakshari 2006 held at Global Mall in Atlanta on September 4th 2006 with Annu Kapoor and his team was an astounding success. The theme was ‘Celebrate Independence all month long'! Atlantans enjoyed patriotism and celebration of India's Independence with this show.
The night of NRI Antakshari 2006 started with Georgy Bhalla introducing the musicians, the co-hosts and top professional singers (Niladri Debnath, Archana Parulekar, and Falguni Brambhatt) and the Antakshari maestro, Annu Kapoor, to a packed, enthusiastic and lively audience.
The show began with a mesmerizing prayer to Lord Ganesh, the ‘Ganesh Vandana' sung by Annuji and his three co-hosts. Four teams named Matwale, Rangiley, Joshilay and Dilwale made this show a musical delight with talented and enthusiastic participants.
Annu Kapoor held the audience in rapt attention with his vast knowledge of music. His charisma enthralled them when he narrated an entire story on Lord Krishna with his Bhajan "Krishna, Krishna, Radhe, Radhe??".This added a whole new dimension to the show and made it not only entertaining, but also informative and spiritual.
The packed conference hall hummed along with Annu Kapoor, Niladri, Archana and Falguni. The atmosphere at the Event was fun filled and merry.

The highlight of the evening was Annuji's interaction with the crowd and the enthusiasm of the participants. He was delighted with the audience response and said, "Atlanta audience knows how to enjoy in the true sense. They enjoy a religious song or Bhajan as well as sing and dance to a Bollywood number". NRI ANTAKSHARI 2006 was indeed an interactive and zesty musical event.
