The Hindu Temple of Atlanta celebrated a spectacular six-day Ganesh Utsav celebration. Thousands attended. The festival was eco-friendly, with rainforest theme and onsite visarjan.

Maharashtra Mandal Atlanta's "Go Green" theme for Ganesh Utsav included biodegradable, compostable items for serving food. Lejhim and Dhol Tasha were performed with drums and vigor.
