CDC safety guidelines in eight Indian languages

Pass the message, slow the virus! Making sense of COVID-19 in Hindi - now on Raksha Radio!

In these audio-visual series, Raksha Radio attempts to localize information and reliable narrations of CDC's key guidelines for COVID-19 in 4 South Asian languages - Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil (Coming soon: Punjabi, Telugu and Gujarati).

Help us go viral in a world rampant with WhatsApp rumors and messages that get lost in translation.

Special thanks to our liaison and members of our community who volunteered to translate and lend their voices to these messages, including Sandhya Bhagat, Anubhooti Kabra, Chaitali De, Alka Mahendrakar, Jeya Maaran, Sonal Parekh, Sneha Bukkarayasamudram, Chinti Bali and Tanmay Singh.

Raksha is an Atlanta, USA based nonprofit. Raksha's mission is to promote a stronger and healthier South Asian Community through confidential support services, education and advocacy. Raksha works towards healing, empowerment, and justice for South Asian Survivors of Violence.
