Atlanta resident Dr. Usha Anand has been awarded “The Teaching Faculty Hospitalist for the Year.” She won the honor from the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where she works as a physician and team lead for the hospital’s Emergency Covid-19 Surge Plan. It’s dedicated to getting the hospital prepared for the onslaught of Covid-19 patients.
Dr. Anand received her medical degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, and completed her internal medicine residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Maine.
