Dr. Sreeni R. Gangasani has been reappointed to the Georgia Composite Medical Board, after previously serving as both Vice Chair and Chair. A past President of the Georgia Association of Physicians of Indian Heritage (GAPI) and a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), he has long been active in physician leadership and policy. He has also served as Chair of the AAPI Annual Convention in 2019 and 2021 and led the AAPI Global Health Summit in Hyderabad, helping build academic, profe-ssional, and global health collaborations between physicians in the U.S. and India. Dr. Gangasani has been a practicing cardiologist in Lawrenceville, Georgia, for over 20 years.
