Georgia Tech assistant professor Divya Mahajan has received a National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Award for research aimed at making artificial intelligence data centers more energy efficient, adaptable, and secure. Mahajan’s project examines how computing systems can coordinate software, hardware, and physical operating conditions to meet AI’s growing demands. It explores managing computation, memory, and networking resources together; adapting to temperature changes and power constraints; and protecting AI models from theft and unauthorized copying. She holds joint appointments in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and School of Computer Science. She has won awards from Google, IIT Ropar, and Georgia Tech.
