Dr. Anu Bhat of Atlanta has been named President of the North America Vishwa Kannada Association (NAVIKA) for 2025–2026. Dr. Bhat will lead Atlanta as it hosts the 10th NAVIKA World Kannada Conference in 2027, continuing NAVIKA’s mission to preserve and promote Kannada culture among the global diaspora. Recognized as a Top Georgia Rheumatologist in 2018, Dr. Bhat is a trustee of the Nrupathunga Kannada Koota and serves on leadership boards for AAPI, the Indian American International Chamber of Commerce, and the Hindu Temple of Atlanta. Alongside her husband, Dr. Subrahmanya Bhat, she established the Subra, Anu & Kiran Foundation.
