Aryan Thakur, who is from Cumming, Georgia, has been selected to join the tenth class of Schwarzman Scholars, a graduate fellowship that addresses the complex geopolitical landscape of the 21st century and prepares the next generation of global leaders. Thakur is one of 150 young leaders from 38 countries who will receive the opportunity to attend a oneyear, fully-funded master’s program in global affairs program at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Currently a senior at the University of Georgia, where he’s studying genetics and mathematics, Thakur founded a digital health startup in Atlanta that uses AI technologies to build digital health tools that ease administrative burdens on physicians and improve patient outcomes. An artist as well, he brought the Inside Out Project, a global participatory art project, to Athens, GA.
