Ek Din, starring Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan and acclaimed South star Sai Pallavi who makes her Hindi film debut with this romantic drama, is set to hit the screens on May 1. Directed by Sunil Pandey, Ek Din is an official remake of the 2016 Thai romantic drama One Day.
Another movie being released in May—May 8, to be precise—is Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya. Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Vivek Soni, the film is said to be a musical love story.
Sunny Deol’s action drama Gabru is also hitting the screens on May 8. Directed by Shashank Udapurkar, the film is described as a story of courage and compassion. It also stars Simran Bagga and Prit Kamani.
Aakhri Sawaal, starring Sanjay Dutt, is slated for a May 15 release. Directed by Abhijeet Maorang, the movie traces the journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, a volunteer organization founded by Hindu nationalists in India.
