Let us spend the day in joy and devotion.
Br. Ramanand - senior disciple of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) will lead the celebrations consisting of fun filled games, chanting, meditation and bhajans.
Dinner and prasad will be served.
MA Center Atlanta for the first time ever is hosting Br. Ramanand’s renowned Krishna Jayanti celebrations and wants to welcome all who are interested!
With festivities that include water games, homecooked Indian food, and authentic yogic customs and music led by Br. Ramanand-- this event is for families, foodies, students, yoga enthusiasts…or just anyone who is:
1. Looking for a festive way to cool down while expanding cultural knowledge
2. Craving a unique bite to eat
3. Looking for free, fun and educational community events
4. Searching for a genuine observance of this widely revered festival in India—that, in celebration of Sri Krisna's birth, aims to replicate the funfilled environment of Vrindavan as the mischevious young Krishna grew-up saturating the town with love and devotional fervor.
This event is free and open to all. Please bring an extra set of clothes, in the case that you get wet during the water games.
