Join Ian Boccio and Margo Gomes for a meditation that connects the grounding power of Ganesha through chanting and sacred sound vibration. Called the Remover of Obstacles and the Lord of Beginnings, Ganesha's seat inside our body is the Root Chakra (Muladhara), which connects our personal energy to the earth. In this meditation, we will meet with Ganesha at the Root Chakra to find a place of stability, centeredness and presence.
Ian will be singing the Shri Maha Ganesha Pancharatnam, a five verse bhakti poem in honor of Ganesha, leading the group in chanting a mantra to awaken the Root Chakra, plus the Mahaganapati Mantra, accompanied by drums and other instruments.
Margo will be creating a soundscape of sacred vibrations using Himalayan singing bowls and Chinese wind gong that will form an environment of healing and meditative energies.
