Mosby Humanitarian award for Gulshan Harjee
April 2022
Dr. Gulshan Harjee, the CMO of Clarkston Community Health Center, was presented with the Nathaniel Mosby Humanitarian Award by DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond. In 2021, Harjee received the Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leader Award, which is given to women who are changing their communities. She was nominated by the Honorable Elena Parent of District 43 for co-founding the fastgrowing Clarkston Community Health Center, a linguistically, culturally, and ethnically sensitive volunteer-operated free clinic that currently serves 5500 patients through eight academic collaborations. Harjee has also been named, for the second time, as one of Atlanta’s 500 most powerful leaders by Atlanta magazine. She has been included among L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth National Honorees and President George Bush’s Points of Light Honorees.
