Sanjay Dutt is a free man, finally!
The film fraternity gave a warm welcome to Sanjay Dutt after he was released from Pune jail on February 25, putting behind him his turbulent past. The much loved actor was serving prison term in connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. There is no easy walk to freedom, my friends, Dutt told reporters. The 56-yearold actor saluted the tricolor fluttering atop the jail building, after which his wife Maanyata and filmmaker Raju Hirani accompanied him to the airport.
By the way, Sanjay’s Khoobsurat co-star Urmila Matondkar sprung a surprise when she married her Kashmiri beau, businessman and model Mohsin Akhtar Mir at her residence in Mumbai in a private ceremony.
