2 States, starring Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, is scheduled to release on April 18. Directed by Abhishek Verman, the film is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name. While Arjun plays a Punjabi boy, Alia
plays a Tamilian in this love story.
Another slated April release is Main Tera Hero. Directed by David Dhawan, this romantic comedy stars Varun Dhawan, Ileana D’Cruz, and Nargis Fakhri.
Filmmaker Subhash Ghai is back after a hiatus of five years with Kaanchi: The Unbreakable, which stars Mithun Chakraborty, Rishi Kapoor, and newcomer Mishti in the title role. The film will hit the screens on April 25.
Jackie Shroff’s son, Tiger, is all set to make his debut in Sajid Nadiadwala’s film titled Heropanti, in which his leading lady is model-actress Kriti Sanon.
There are unconfirmed reports that Kajol will make a comeback in her husband Ajay Devgn’s next directorial venture, as yet untitled. Kajol had starred in U Me aur Hum, Ajay’s debut film as director, in 2008.
